I was taking my semi-regular Sunday morning power walk/jog in the Gerritsen Creek Salt Marsh when I caught a glimpse of what appeared to be the Loch Ness Monster just hanging out amongst the ruined pilings of the long gone tidal mill. I was cursing that I left my good camera at home so the best I could do was whip out my trusty cell phone and take the shot that I've posted here.
I'm a big Battlestar Galactica fanboy/fanboi so I always thought it was kinda cute with the way they got around using the real planet Earth of the 21st century version of the f-word by pretending that the people in the show , who are from a culture that has been nuked by the Cylons, and are using the word "frack" in its place. Now I find out from the Scifi.com store that I've been spelling it wrong all these years. I'm so disillusioned that I may have to declare that the show has "Jumped the Shark" prematurely!
That's Joe Willie and Sante Claus from this year's tree taken with my new Canon camera that Sante brought me cause I was an extra special good boy this year. We had a nice rest of the summer, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's, Little Christmas and MLK Jr. holiday.
